The book is an easy read that was released in 2021 and includes 100 things successful people do and 10 things successful people do not do. Nigel Cumberland discusses the 100 concepts and explains them in a bitesize format. It’s almost like he expounds on the concept on one page and, on the next page, holds your hand, explaining how you can implement the concept, hence making it a practical read.

The narration includes many real-life examples, which are very relatable. The first chapters of the book start off by prompting you to redefine what success means to you, and it doesn’t have to be based on your job or academic excellence but mostly what success means to you as a person on a deeper level and not what the world perceives it to be. After deciding what success means, you now proceed to the practical concepts that can be incorporated into your daily life.

Nigel Cumberland has refined what success means to me and made me realize I can decide what success means to me without following the norm.

Here are ten things I learned from the book;

1. How to tackle stress.

2. To be more than a 9–5.

3. How to volunteer my time.
